I decided the line the rimfire "Rifle" troops up for a fitness check and strategic evaluation analysis. I decided many were under optic endowed, so dragged out a box of "Center fire" optics. I have largely gone to 30 MM tube w/illuminated reticles.
The CZ-453 with it's single-set trigger is now mated with a "Osprey" Compact Tactical (30MM body) 3-9X42 Illuminated Rangefinding Glass Reticle BDC elevation optic. This is one sweet set-up & is dialed in to digest "Remington 22 Viper" Long Rifle Ammo (a 36 gr. Truncated Cone Solid) Cleared for departure at 1,425 Feet per second.
The CZ-452 Ultra-Lux with it's 28.6" barrel is now mated to a "Osprey" (30MM Body) 3-12X50 Illuminated "Rangefinding Reticle. This firearm is dialed in for "silent'work" with the Remington "Subsonic" 38 gr. Hollow Point departing @ 1,050 Feet Per Second.
The CZ-452 FS (.22 Magnum) is now mated to a "Leupold" VX-R 1.25-4X20 Illuminated "Firedot" Circle.
The "Anschutz" 1515-1516 (.22 Magnum) Is living with a "Leupold" European 30MM Tube 4-12X40 German #4 Reticle.
The Remington 597M (.22 Magnum) Now has a 1.25-4X20 "Leupold" 30MM European with a German #4 Reticle.
So five are now fit for duty, and four are in stand-down pending further evaluation for possible redundancy.
