Hello all I am Scott from Arizona here to introduce myself, I am a strugling small business owner in the crane and hosit industry. This is a spin off of my electrical/ mechanical backround. I started out some 20 odd years ago as an electrician and have been able to travel the US extensivley and because of this I have seen some of the better and worse parts of humanity especially in some of the big cities. I would guess the prepper genes in me came out about 15 years ago when I came across some property in an out of the way place in Arizona that was only $120 an acre, I bought it sight unseen and when I finally checked it out I had the realization that it would be a great place to go if people started getting stupid, so there it was. Been hooked ever since. I will say though that over the years I think it is training and knowledge that will be king and not gear, while gear is nice I think it is better to use the brain pan first….
