Hi JD, welcome aboard. I looked at your biography: Horses, cattle, etc…sounds like your lifestyle has already given you a heads up on prep. Post all the questions you feel free to ask, there's a lot of people here with a lot of experience (btw: I'm not one of them…still in the leaning curve) that are more than willing to help.

JD, can't make out your photo…is that a horse pulling something? Also, if you get the chance, Ferfal has made some posts on his blog site talking about how some Argentinians using horses as there sole means of transportation. If you could, since I see that you raise horses, post some info from your point of view on what you think would be the pros and cons for having horses as some alternate means of sustaining yourself during a post SHTF scenario. Just one pro (which is something I think is disgusting) is that horse meat is very nutritional even compared to beef .
