Hi all,
Miles away in OZ (Australia), that's me.
I had a brief look through here after reading "Lessons from Argentina's economic collapse" by ferfal which I though was excellent and impacted on me the need to get skills and equipment now.
Currently no prep' but I can see the necessity especially mentally, possibly the most required and difficult acquisition, needing a longer lead time hence my wish to be involved here.
I hope to learn and contribute, at very least, another perspective.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome! No area is the same within a country and each country has it's own unique perspective. Looking forward to your input. The fact that you haven't done much prep isn't as important as being aware and keeping your eyes open, at least in my opinion. We all have a start point and the more you learn the more you contribute. I'm a big believer in the Global Guerilla theory, that we can work together when it benefits us and move faster than others (particularly lying governments), because we're networked and and produce better open source intelligence. That's what this is all about to me. We will all benefit from your observations.

Welcome Atu, you'll like it here. I'm a bit of an a**hole sometimes and ban people for no good reason or edit their posts so that they say things they dont mean. No, I'm just kidding… Luke is the one that does that.
Anyway, knowledge is the most important part and regarding gear and supplies, you dont need much fancy stuff either and its not that expensive to get a minimum setup eventually when you can afford it.
