Been a follower or Fernando's blog for some time now…Noticed the forum and decided to join. I'm a budding prepper, living in Wisconsin, USA. My interests are prepping, grappling, and shooting. I love dogs, have two of them, and can't imagine a world without them. I'm a former soldier, but now I work in healthcare. Hoping to engage in some meaningful discussions.
Mike

Welcome Mike. I like dogs also. Like horses, they are a good source of protein. Just kidding, just kidding. Anyways, it's an easy going kinda place with some pretty good info. Hope you like it.

LOOK: Start to get wrapped around the idea that it was over in the Fall of 2008. This is just the dying quivers. Stop waiting for "IT" to happen, "IT" already happened.

Thank you everyone for the welcome. The name Boru was chosen in honor of Brian Boru, an Irish king who battled the Hiberno-Norse for control of Ireland at the battle of Clontarf in 1014. Yeah, it's kind of nerdy.

I believe there's an old poem honoring him? Red it a long, long time ago. Do you know of what I speak?

Not that anyone would care, but mine is because I am a sovereign human being who laments the war on liberty, hence, "crying free man." Nothing to do with the bizarre martial arts movie of the same name. And now I'm off to bed, it's late this side of the Pond…

Wow, thanks for the kind words chaps! The reason I like this site so much is (a) everyone is pretty much switched on and (b) finding anyone of like mind here in socialist politically-correct-land is not easy!
