I used to think stupidity and greed could account for all the self destructive government level stuff that goes on.

Somehow, somewhere between the Patriot Act and "Never let a good emergency go to waste…" I started to lean hard towards someone somewhere above governmental level, like someone or a group of someones with power to determine who will be running for USA president and other similar factors that shape the direction of world events has an agenda to bring down the American and in fact the world economy. 

Now; be a good therapy group and point me towards reality or join me in my madness and give some reasons thatwould motivate this destructive behavior on the part of the "Someones".
