Good augment Gallo and yes when you tip toe around a subject it's hard to make sense.
So perhaps Druid meant that culturally negro Africans are the same and hence would act similarly outside of Africa.
I can't speak for druid, but yes I would think that's what he meant.
This could be true if the entire African continent was composed of a homogeneous demographic sharing the same political values, religion, language, and traditions.
So unless they are all the same they are all different. I guess that's true to a point.
I think most blacks act similarly outside of Africa (most not all) I also think most Russians,Germans, Americans (not all) act similarly, it is a cultural thing.
Let's see what remains, if it's not geography and it's not culture? Oh yes, skin color
Yes skin color… partiality at least, it's part of what makes us who we are. But mostly culture and maybe a little geography too.
Why must we pretend to be all the same, our differences are what make us special and yes our similarities are important too and may out number our differences.
Shall we move to Asians, now? They must all act the same by virtue of their yellow skin and slanted eyes
It's clear you're offended….but I'm not sure why. Do you feel that being different makes them inferior?
Oh, and thanks for the reply Gallo, my feelings are just that feelings…..they may be wrong. I never said I"m the brightest bulb in the basket (maybe it's a cultural thing….redneck you know )

I'm not offended. I've never been defender of any race. It is Druid who thinks negros are inferior precisely because they are different. If you were to say, Rwandans act the same outside their native country, that would have some loose validity. But to lump all Africans, including African Americans that have been in the US since the 18th century–many of whom have no idea where their roots lie in the mother land, into one shady category is flat out racist.

I tend to see people broken apart as haves and have nots rather than on racial lines. No matter what race a person is if they have an entitlement mentality they will find someone to blame. Look at #OWS they were almost exclusively white and upper middle class and while some were asking for jobs so that they might payoff student loans and live the American dream. Many wanted a bailout, debt forgiven, insane work rules and pay. An entitlement mentality.
As a female I know discrimination that happens but mostly because folks think I got a free ride or I made a quota for being female, because of affirmative action.
I was a fast track in the Army, SSG in 8 years in Signal MOS is damn good for anyone non-combat arms MOS. I was soldier of the year for Battalion and brigade level and did the same as an NCO. I was an Audie Murphy member and did the job of O-1 and O-2's on staff and battalion and brigade level.
It didn't matter because females will get promoted to fill the affirmative action slots for the Army. So I didn't earn my promotion, I was given it, because I was just a token female.
I know that wasn't true and it was a pain in the ass to have to prove myself again and again. Life ain't fair and I learned that lesson by the time I was 12 years old. Trust me I served with a number of females especially officers. I would say the statement is accurate that they were filling a quota and not because they were the best person for the job.
That's why I hate affirmative action! You meet the standards or not. I couldn't be an infantry man or a tanker. While I was strong for a female my body just wasn't strong enough to ruck 70 + pounds as a way of life. I couldn't bust a track on a APC not even considering a tank. I can't slam dunk a basketball either.
While some minorities are given some breaks the discrimination of soft expectations always bites them in the ass sooner or later. As far as I'm concerned liberals and progressives are the most racist folks in the world. They want all the workers of all types to stay on the plantation!

jarhead has capably argued most of my case so i'll just add a few brief comments.
MW first.
MW said:
We can discuss topics intelligently, but the fact is we live in a totalitarian state in which even our truthful words spoken out of a pure and honest intellect are not only used to attack us and build sympathy to their dumbed-down cause, but can be used to arrest, detain and prosecute us. This is not the land of the free anymore. Keep in mind the words you use and how you say them are being watched and its a real possibility they can be used against you. Refuse all your want, but associations matter to the Police-State we live in and your words can get others questioned by authorities in the least and in the worse case an arrest and detention can occur.
geeze, why bother to talk about liberty if you can write something like the above. that ship has sailed. yes, i'm perfectly aware that the internet is monitored. but a lot of good men have died to protect the u.s. constitution, especially the first amendment right of free speech, which does not exist anywhere else on earth, so i'll take my chances. what kind of coward would i be to fear speaking my mind when so many men have made the ultimate sacrifice to allow me to do so? no thanks. i'll keep talking when i think something needs to be said. and i must add that many african americans have fought to give me this right as well. and still do, and they have my full respect.
listen to you, "totalitarian state….. arrest, detain and prosecute us….. not the land of the free anymore…..police state…..words can get others questioned by autorities…" you're thinking of france. but don't worry, they'll come after me, not you. and i'll take full responsibility. i'm the only one here that says politically INcorrect stuff. i'll protect you, MW, i promise.
on to gallo.
gallo said: "So what about a white African from South Africa, can the Africa (whatever this means) not be take out of him too?"
you're speaking of africaaners. they are of european descent, "euro-africans", if you will. so my statement doesn't apply to them, only to indigenous, sub-saharan africans. i'm surprised the word "deductive" is even in your vocabulary. if you look at the facts, the numbers, the actual statistics, my case is proved beyond any reasonable doubt. equality is a joke. take your wife or girlfriend, and your children to an all black neighborhood on a friday night and drop them off if you believe in equality. then we'll see how you REALLY feel. would anybody here be willing to do that? i doubt it.
the fact is you are so indoctrinated and brainwashed on this subject that you are absolutely incapable of thinking logically about it. you can go to any country in the world outside of africa, and if there is an indigenous-african population there, they are at the bottom rung of society and they have created a matriarchal system for themselves. have you travelled at all?
i'm glad you brought up asians. as euro-americans, we lump chinese, japanese, phillipinos, and koreans all together in the category of asian. but i can assure you that those groups don't feel the same way. have you ever heard of the rape of nanking? go to china and ask a chinese man how he feels about japan and see what he says. go to japan and accidentally call a japanese man a korean and see what happens. all of those nationalities consider themselves completely different races, each superior to the other, and each contemptuous of the other. do some research for Christ sake. if a japanese wants to become an american citizen, he can do so. if YOU want to become a citizen of japan, you're out of luck; they won't allow it. why? answer that question and then we'll talk.
i have had direct and first hand experience with all races and many ethnicities. from your position, i doubt that you have. you are simply regurgitating a line of propaganda that has been jammed down your throat. of course there are exceptions in every race, but as a general rule, i know what part of town i want to be in. and i would be willing to bet that you live in a mostly white neighborhood.
any permutation of the word "race" is nothing more than a shut-up word. it stops the debate dead in its tracks. all i have to do is call a euro-american a racist and he has to shut up. he hangs his pitiful head and the conversation is over. i coined the terms "euro-american" and "non euro-american" specifically to circumvent the race weapon. and i was amazed at how effective it was. when i'm debating with liberals in person and i use those terms, their mouths drop open and they become completely confused. i win every time.
i'm not going to waste any more time on this topic. suffice it to say that the political correctness that you espouse has destroyed this country, our culture, our future and we, as euro-americans, are all going to pay dearly for it. when your particular payment comes due, you are going to be one surprised honky.
when i get some more time i'll discuss the disgrace that is the pentagon, the u.s. navy, the u.s. army, and the day karen hultgreen splattered herself all over the deck of an aircraft carrier for the sake of political correctness.

I'm glad you're not offended Gallo that was not my intention. Like I said I'm not the brightest bulb in the basket so feel free to bash my thoughts if you find them lacking.
It is Druid who thinks negros are inferior precisely because they are different.
There have been many test that show blacks have a lower IQ than Asians or whites. I know there are many blacks with a higher IQ than me and many Asians with IQs that are lower so personally my dear I don't give a damn. In my opinion there are more important factors that determine success other than IQ, it does however suggest a difference based on race.
If you were to say, Rwandans act the same outside their native country, that would have some loose validity.
As Druid pointed out any place in the world that has an indigenous-african population are having problems with them. England, France,Germany, the Scandinavian countries all have allowed vast immigration from Africa and all are experiencing the same troubles. Slavery only exist in African countries today. Blacks have been in this country from the beginning but are still at the bottom of the economic latter as they are in any country they have migrated to. How do you explain that? I can't …not without blaming it on anyone but blacks or (get ready for it…racist comment) the blacks themselves.
But to lump all Africans, including African Americans that have been in the US since the 18th century–many of whom have no idea where their roots lie in the mother land, into one shady category is flat out racist.
But what then do we do, ignore the fact that no matter where they go they seem to end up in the same boat? I guess I'm a racist. I don't want to be, but lets face it either it's their fault or every body else's fault. Listen to any black leader in America and it's everyone else.
Until Obama was elected I never gave it much thought, but now with the constant bitching from the black community, the many attacks on non-blacks by blacks for purely racial reasons and the constant preaching from white liberals suffering from white guilt I've been forced to think about it.

That's true, it is more that just race. Race alone doesn't explain much. These are complicated issues and much of the blame lies on leftism and the left use race or the treat of being labeled a racist as a means to shut down the dialog.

I don't see any race as being supreme but I do see all races as being different and I see no reason to pretend they aren't.

I saw this on another blog and copied it into my "Papa's alternate education " file.
S-21 & A Reprise of Six Lessons I Learned From the Twentieth Century.
Photo of an unknown young Cambodian girl tortured and executed at S-21.
By way of Pete at WRSA we have this commentary from Skeeter at Armed and Christian on a story about UN "justice" for a Khmer Rouge torturer and executioner who worked at the infamous S-21 execution facility.
A haunting documentary about S-21 is available on DVD.
I wrote this in 1999.
What I Have Learned From the Twentieth Century
With thanks to Schoolmasters Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Mao Tse-Tung and Pol Pot
June, 1999
by Mike Vanderboegh
As an amateur historian of this sad century whose time is almost up, I would like to reflect upon six lessons I have learned in my studies. Folks who wish to live free and prosperous in the next century would do well to understand the failures of the past.
LESSON NO. 1: If a bureaucrat, or a soldier sent by a bureaucrat, comes to knock down your door and take you someplace you do not want to go because of who you are or what you think – kill him. If you can, kill the politician who sent him. You will likely die anyway, and you will be saving someone else the same fate. For it is a universal truth that the intended victims always far outnumber the tyrant's executioners. Any nation which practices this lesson will quickly run out of executioners and tyrants, or they will run out of it.
LESSON NO. 2: If a bureaucrat, or a soldier sent by a bureaucrat, comes to knock down your door and confiscate your firearms — kill him. The disarmament of law-abiding citizens is the required precursor to genocide.
LESSON NO. 3: If a bureaucrat tells you that he must know if you have a firearm so he can put your name on a list for the common good, or wants to issue you an identity card so that you be more easily identified — tell him to go to hell. Registration of people and firearms is the required precursor to the tyranny which permits genocide. Bureaucrats cannot send soldiers to doors that are not on their list.
LESSON NO. 4: Believe actions, not words. Tyrants are consummate liars. Just because a tyrant is "democratically elected" does not mean he believes in democracy. Reference Adolf Hitler, 1932.
And just because a would-be tyrant mouths words of reverence to law and justice, or takes a solemn oath to uphold a constitution, does not mean be believes such concepts apply to him. Reference Bill Clinton, among others.
The language of the lie is just another tool of killers. A sign saying "Arbeit Macht Frei" (Work Makes You Free) posted above an execution camp gate does not mean that anybody gets out of there alive, and a room labeled "Showers" does not necessarily make you clean. Bill Clinton notwithstanding, the meaning of "is" is plain when such perverted language gets you killed. While all tyrants are liars, it is true that not all political liars are would-be tyrants — but they bear close watching. And keep your rifle handy.
LESSON NO. 5: Our constitutional republic as crafted by the Founders is the worst form of government in the world, except when compared to all the others. Capitalism, as well, is a terrible way to run an economy, except when compared to all other economic systems. Unrestrained democracy is best expressed as three wolves and a sheep sitting down to vote on what to have for dinner. The horrors of collectivism in all its forms — socialism, communism, national socialism, fascism — have been demonstrated beyond dispute by considerable wasteful trial and bloody error. Leaders such as Bill Clinton who view the Constitution as inconvenient and ignorable are harbingers of tyranny.
LESSON NO. 6: While nations do not always get the leaders they deserve, they always get the leaders they tolerate. And anyone who tells you that "It Can't Happen Here" is whistling past the graveyard of history. There is no "house rule" that bars tyranny coming to America. History is replete with republics whose people grew complacent and descended into imperial butchery and chaos. Dictators count on the assistance of people who are complacent, fearful, envious, lazy and corrupt. While there is no "Collective guilt" to the crimes of a regime (all such crimes being committed by specific criminal individuals), there is certainly "collective responsibility" — especially for those who watch the criminals at work without objecting or interfering.
A French journalist of the last century wrote: "I must speak out, for I will not be an accomplice." Evil tyrants require, indeed they depend upon, willing and unwilling accomplices — good people who would never think of harming a soul themselves. Lenin called such people "useful idiots."
De Tocqueville observed that "America is great because America is good. When America ceases to be good, she will cease to be great." As related in the Old Testament, God judged nations based upon the immorality and criminality of their leaders. Entire peoples were scourged because of their failure to remove corrupt leaders.
As we move from the Twentieth Century into the Twenty-First, we should take care to remember the ancient story of Sodom and Gomorrah. If we wish to avoid the butchery of the Twentieth Century and the righteous judgment of the God of our antiquity, we would do well to keep our Bibles, our Constitution and our firearms close at hand.
Remember, folks, DON'T GET ON THE BOXCAR.
Kill the thug sent to put you on it.
Then kill the collectivist politician who sent him.
Kill them all, to the end of time.
Unless, of course, you are willing to have some little girl that you love and cherish end up as a ghostly image in a murder archive.
Mike

I've traveled plenty, perhaps in a different social circle than you, which is why I can't box any race into a stereotype. I've closely interacted with very smart and very dumb, very poor and very rich people across the race spectrum. I'm not regurgitating anything. I'm simply exercising my judgement per my life experience. You are the one that's stuck on race. And I don't call you a racist to shut you up anymore than I call a dog a dog to stop him from barking. It's just what you are, so own up to it and don't reverse the race card.
Yes, I live in a lily white neighborhood with pesky HOA that does a fine job of keeping the rift raft out. I won't apologize for that. But so does a black across the street, a few muslims around the block and more Indians than I can shake a stick at. It's not about race. It's about social status and trying as hard as possible to get to the highest level my intellect can afford me. The police are at my door in 3 minutes when I call them. How long does it take them when you call. If there is shake-down the ones at the bottom will get squeezed harder than the ones at the top. Take that to the bank.
There is no middle ground on this. Either you believe a race is superior or you don't. Anything else and I suggest you grow a pair. All this BS about studies showing higher IQ for Whites than Blacks or the typical argument, 'generally speaking blah…blah…blah' amount to a lack of balls. A 12 year old African boy will flunk the IQ test designed by a White man but will survive the African desert for days. How's that for intelligence.
—————
Crabby,
That's a good post. Before the government registers people and takes their guns away, they first dehumanize the group intended for extermination because it is a lot easier to execute non-humans. It begins by treating individual as a collective- Jews are this, Blacks are that- and it escalates to segregation and extermination. Anybody who loves liberty would think twice before labeling his brother because that is the fuel that empower tyrants.

I did a little quick research. Five men Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Mao Tse-Tung and Pol Pot together were responsible for over one hundred million deaths! all in the name of social justice and to improve the life of the working man…the little guy.
Before the government registers people and takes their guns away, they first dehumanize the group intended for extermination because it is a lot easier to execute non-humans.
Not necessarily in that order first comes registration then gun confiscation and then at least in the case of the Jews dehumanization and extermination.
Jews are this, Blacks are that
Do you think the elites are trying to turn the whites against the blacks? you've got it backwards. They are trying to turn blacks against whites (and doing a heck of a job of it too). Their aim is race wars and an excuse to crack down and control the majority. They care nothing about killing blacks one way or the other. They might use that tactic if they thought it would work, but there is far to much white guilt from past sins against blacks for that tactic to work. They do though, have a very good chance of stirring up hatred against whites by blacks who have suffered injustices at the hands of whites, both real and imagined. MW was correct, blacks have and continue to be victims of white liberals. Some liberals do it out of guilt, some do it out of ignorance… in a belief that blacks can't make it without their help (soft racism), and some do it out of unadulterated evil like the five despots above.
Burying our heads in the sand won't help, I'm not sure what will.
There is no middle ground on this. Either you believe a race is superior or you don't.
Gallo, you are the only one as far as I can tell making the assertion of racial superiority. There are differences in the races. You keep trying to bring the augment back to superiority because that is an augment you can win (rightfully so)
A 12 year old African boy will flunk the IQ test designed by a White man but will survive the African desert for days. How's that for intelligence.
So can a baboon….has nothing to do with IQ, as a matter of fact IQ seems to have little to do with where anyone will end up in life. A few years ago they tracked down the man that supposedly had the highest IQ in America…..he drove a CAB I brought up IQ (other than a lack of balls) because it's a scientific way of showing a difference not a superiority.

gallo: And I don't call you a racist to shut you up. It's just what you are, so own up to it and don't reverse the race card.
first of all, i don't acknowledge that collection of letters as being a legitimate english word. i own up to seeing differences in the races every time i post on the subject. and whenever there is a perceptual difference it will be accompanied by a subjective value judgement. that's just how the human mind works. i don't apologize for it, i don't back away from it. i call 'em as i see 'em. i believe a race is superior. the chinese are probably #1, euros #2, and then it just all goes to s**t.
second, as usual, you attribute to me words i never wrote. i never cited no stinking studies. if you scroll up you'll see that someone else did. i don't need no f***ing studies; i've got 2 eyes, still 20/20, and i threw away my rose colored glasses decades ago.
i agree that there is no middle ground on this and i've made my position VERY clear. would anybody here say i HAVEN'T made my position clear? speak up if you disagree. who do you think started this forum explosion?
then you go to name calling. and if you have to stoop to that, you don't have a serious argument. you would have to admit that my powers of observation are pretty damn good. i said i bet you live in a mostly white neighborhood and you even kicked it up to "lily white." talk is so fuckin' cheap dude. LESSON NO. 4. BELIEVE ACTIONS NOT WORDS. you could get 5 times the square footage in an all black neighborhood with enough money left over for a total top of the line renovation, and yet you CHOOSE to live in a lily white one and pay a steep premium for the privilege. are you just stupid or independently wealthy with money to throw away? go on deluding yourself as long as you like, but it's clear to anybody with a brain what your true position is on this issue. hypocrisy is such a waste of energy.
when i call the police i get a recording that says, "press 1 to continue in english". then i get a rolling busy signal. IM the police around here. thanks to budget cuts because of misguided liberal spending there are no police. it's the wild west out here. even where there are police there are no police. they only show up to string yellow tape and draw a chalk outline around the body. it's always been that way but people used to delude themselves otherwise. admit it, you're a hypocrite on this. you technically lost the argument. you hung yourself with an HOA rope.

Whites did not dominate the world due to racial superiority, we dominated the world due to religious superiority. When Europe was Christian it led the world in science, education, manufacturing you name it, the same with America. Once Europe cast off Christianity it cast off it's prosperity and now the US is following suit. In Europe the countries that embraced Christianity prospered and the countries that didn't ….didn't …all white.
Now that the US is embracing secularism we will compete on a secular level and yes like druid says we will probably be out done by the Chinese in a secular world.

JH,
It is Druid who inists on race superiority. He even enumerated them. I'm merely pointing it out. I got no horse in the race issue (no pun intended).
Druid,
Name calling? The dog thing was an analogy. I simply called you racist. Given all the smack you talk about euro Americans, I'd think it was a complement.
Why am I a hypocrite? Because I chose to live in predominantly White neighborhood that has low crime and great schools? Is that a crime? Any man with a family would strive for that. I don't really care about the color of the skin of my neighbors. Race tells me very little about a person. How a person earns a living, how he spends his money, and what he does with his free time are much more relevant factors in evaluating if I like or dislike someone.

Name calling? The dog thing was an analogy.
you've got to be brighter than that. it wasn't the dog analogy.
i think we've gone as far as we can go on this thread.
i don't buy the elite conspiracy theory for the simple reason that the voters could have stopped any or all of the declining trends any day they wanted. but they chose not to. the sad truth is that it is the collective stupidity of the entire nation that has brought us to the brink (which we will go over). the s will htf. none of us is innocent here. we all f***ed it up. like the man said, "all that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing." and that's what we did; nothing. we let the stupidity stretch to infinity. and now there's a couple of generations of guys like gallo who actually, honestly and sincerely believe the lie. in the beginning WE believed it. but then experience, time, and reality tore back the curtain. but it was too late. the lie was too big and too many people depended on it.
hey, i've got an idea; let's invade iraq! oh wait, we already did that. ok, what's the second stupidest thing we could possibly do? i don't know, but i'm sure there's a committee working on it.
geeze, i feel like moving to freakin' northern ireland too. i think if ferfal actually lived in today's u.s. he'd go out of his mind. i mean every day i ask myself, could this possibly be happening? and i look out the train window and there it is. happening.

this is false. these five guys are the LEAST responsible. this is the elite conspiracy theory at work. were these five men not human? would a bullet through the heart not kill them as it would any human? and would that not have stopped them cold? such a simple matter. these five guys couldn't live long enough to kill a hundred million, even if they worked at it every day from dawn to dusk.
no, it is every guy who followed an order, every guy who pulled a trigger, every guy who opened the bomb bay doors, it is human nature, it is the way of the world. if we don't take responsibility for our actions, then the declaration of independence is horse s**t (after "we hold these truths to be self-evident," it really is,), all our lofty principles are just more lies. we are all instruments of murder at one time or another. those one hundred million deaths were brought about by another hundred million lifes. what was the defense of every nazi at nuremburg? just following orders, dude.
five guys? come on. think about it. without the active cooperation of the other hundred million, they're just five bums on the street.
f**k! can i write or what? you're pretty good too, jarhead. i expect i'll catch quite a bit of hell from MW on this one. but all in all, it's a pretty good forum.

Of course you're right druid and who knows what history would have produced with different leaders, but they were a giant contributing factor. Ideas are as dangerous as guns, take Marx his ideas have led to more deaths than anyone's ideas in history. One thing I do know,God holds us accountable for our leaders, we are not absolved of our collective sins . God has destroyed whole civilizations because of their leaders. In the Jews case he used some of their most hated enemies to do it,the Assyrians.
Gallo, I don't think I'm a racist, but I may be (some people tell me I am), that to me is part of what this conversation is about. If I'm a racist I need to recognize it, admit it and root those feelings out. I think I just use common sense and let the chips fall where they may.
A couple of examples.
I had a black women (a renter) tell me with sincerity, that God sent me to her. She said she had been looking at the paper for a place to rent and praying when she saw my add. She didn't have the money for the deposit and the rent but since she seemed to me to be a good Christian lady I took what she could afford and let her pay the rest latter. She didn't have much furniture so I gave her some that had been left from time to time by other renters. She doesn't have a car so I've taken her to town from time to time for groceries or errands. When spring came I took my tractor and tilled her a place for a garden. I love to help deserving people, does that mean I'm not a racist? I don't know….maybe, I know I do lump people into categories….is that racism? I pointed out above that blacks seem to be at the bottom where ever they go….is that racism? or just a fact (please don't point out the exceptions…I know there are many).
When I was in Viet Nam, I didn't feel I was fighting for the US, I felt I was fighting for the people of the village I had been given charge of. People who had been robbed and murdered by the VC . People who panicked and begged us to stay after the area had been "pacified" for fear the VC would return.People my heart ached for. People who I shared my food and medicine with, people who invited us into their homes for the night and warned us of VC activities. As Gallo called them… little "yellow skinned, slanty eyed people" that I was prepared to give my live to help give them justice. Does that mean I'm not a racist? no, I could still be a racist and love some people of different races I suppose. (one thing it does show, I don't just talk the talk…I walk the walk)
None of us are perfect and if we were honest I think we would all admit we all have our prejudices. Does that mean everyone is a racist…or are only whites racists?

That's one of the things I love about this site. I know of no other where this topic could be discussed and not have it evolve into a full blown mud-slinging, profanity laced rant.
Good for us

Men love darkness above light. I'm guilty of that too. No stone shall be cast from my palm.
I do find the sides in this tete-a-tete comical…Gallo/MW versus Jarhead/Druidhouse. Clearly, no two people on this forum or in this country agree on EVERYTHING. But I strive for intellectual honesty and consistency, sometimes falling short.
I am pleased at the open debate of this forum and believe that it could not exist under any other pretense than liberty.

"In these sentiments, Sir, I agree to this Constitution with all its faults, if they are such; because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of Government but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered, and believe farther that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other." -Ben Franklin

Ok time to wrap up things on this topic. Here a few take aways.
1. Druid, despite all your talk about euro-Americans, I don't think you are a racist. You like controversy and throw the term as bait. I'm always glad to give you a run for your money. In The Other Forum you would have been banned a long time ago, but here you are at home.
2. JH, I most definitely don't think you're a racist. Never have. You remind me a bit of my grandfather whom if you judged him by his words you'd think he was a little racist, but his generous actions spoke the opposite. Men of a different generation are best judged by their actions than by their words.
3. I don't have a full understanding of the word racism despite its over use in American culture. Nor do I fully understand why it is that bad to make judgement calls based on race. I make my judgement calls based on other parameters (which can be just as bad) simply because where I grew up there were no blacks or other races. Yes, we all have prejudices. We wouldn't be human without them.
As someone that was not born here and had a lot of his formation outside the US, I can tell you the US is the most tolerant country in the world. I personally have never felt discriminated.
