Wow! this is scary, the state taking a baby from it's parents because he belongs to the oath keepers.
The father, Johnathon Irish, told WND that the affidavit signed by Child Protective Service worker Dana Bicford seeking government custody of newborn Cheyenne said the agency "became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as the 'Oath Keepers.'"
This really upsets me, we have to get this government back under control.

As far as "getting the government back under control", I'm having a very difficult time imagining what could possibly bring that about. Angry voters? Don't think so. Voting in the US these days is much like cattle in the slaughterhouse getting to choose their own chute. Revolution? Hmmm. Â Wouldn't be attempted until things get immeasurably, unimaginably, Â worse. So again, don't think so.
How long before we are all drinking the G-23 paxilon hydrochlorate that the municipal water was doped with?

I saw it on Drudge and was shocked when I read it.  It almost seems as if the story was made up just to get folks flustered. I used to think New Hampshire was the last bastion of freedom (Live Free or Die) in New England. It now seems like another suburb of Boston. I did not think this was even possible in our Nation and I pray that this little blip on the landscape is just an anomaly and not a harbringer of things to come.

It does seem that that this man who has a rifle a hand gun and a tazer, and posted on an oathkeepers forum has been clasified as a "violent reactionary". I don't know the guy or his fiance/wife. "Family courts" tend to be filled with all kinds of conjecture of all sorts.
A rifle, a tazer and a handgun doesn't seem like the "milita" kind of guy starting an insurrection. If he is I'm toast The rifle must not have been a military carbine of any sort cause the media is big on pushing that idea. Probably an old bolt or lever action,. Hand gun is probably a revolver.
If this guy is hurting kids or women we will be the first to condemn him. If he is what appears to be what is happening to him, Like Huratees I will back him.

If he has been hurting kids or women, then that is what he should have been charged with. Not with having signed the oath keepers pledge. It may turn out he's a sorry SOB, but that still doesn't give the state the right to take his child because of a pledge he signed.

marble to be totally honest I'm going to hunker down. Get safe on the net and get off the radar. Plus do the same for others and get them private.
I don't know if this guy is a puke or if he is just an average guy. That is not my problem. I'm not giving up but I do have bit of work to do for going "Grey man".
Marble I don't know what I will do. Other than nothing extreme. Yes I'm a bit of coward, and I won't volunteer to be the designated idiot.
What's the best that could happen is hit the msm and let folks know about it.
What is my base? I'm military and Audie Murphy member. An NCO born and bred. I have no base to rally. Should I shoot all lawyers and bureaucrats at random. Might make the evening news but what would change?

In three weeks we each will have the great opportunity to change the course of history. USE IT or LOOSE IT.
|
LOOK: Start to get wrapped around the idea that it was over in the Fall of 2008. This is just the dying quivers. Stop waiting for "IT" to happen, "IT" already happened.

No I think it was a good answer. Gosh how sorry is that?
We have to prioritize threats of all sorts. Damn I hate myself for this answer. But I can't save no one if I don't save myself first.
I'll let it happen, not cause I want to just cause I'm keeping my head down. I hate this crap I shouldn't be forced to make these decisions. Hell that's part of why I joined the military so folks and myself wouldn't have to make these decisions.
Oh Muffins!!

I am spreading the word, trying to wake people up. I have emailed this to all on my email list and posted it on several forums. Beyond that I will vote and donate money to candidates whom I think can make a difference. If this had happened in my state I would be calling my local government officials and trying to get every one I know to do the same. If I can find the mans address I will send him a few dollars to help with his legal expenses.

Jarheads quote reminded me of something my father said to me at the begining of the "Ruby Ridge" incident. I made an asinine comment along the lines of "well they say he is a Nazi racist." to which my Dad replied in perfect legal sense so that even his mule headed son could understand. "There is nothing in the Constitution that says you can't be an a$#-hole if you choose."
Thus began my hard swing back to the right after a 5 year detour in my twenties!!!

This is a night mare, first they take the child now this. It doesn't matter what the father did or did not do. If they are allowed to use his signing of an oath or his membership in a legal organization, as a mitigating circumstance, it wont be long before they use that as the primary reason to take someones rights. It would be akin to the courts using the fact that someone is Christan, or a Jew, or a black on a complaint for robbing a bank, one has nothing to do with the other. They may have had a hundred reasons to take the baby but sighing the oath keepers pledge wasn't one of them.
